
Synopsis - Sophie's Children
In the aftermath of WWI, Sophie's children have returned home to Forge Cottage, each hoping to resume their studies in medicine, teaching and nursing.

The war has had a devastating effect on society, and unemployment is high. Charles, Florrie, and Rosa will need to work hard to finish their studies and secure employment. At a time of great change in society they need to make the right choices in their professional and personal lives. Will they be successful, or will they regret their decisions?

Can Charles cope with the demands as a doctor despite the emotional upheaval in his love life? How will his family feel about who he has chosen to marry?
